The Dr. Eddie Richardson Jr. Legacy Fund
Building a Healthier Georgia for Generations to Come
The Georgia Healthy Family Alliance (GHFA) proudly honors Dr. Eddie Richardson Jr., longtime Board Chair, community physician, and advocate for family medicine, through the creation of the Dr. Eddie Richardson Jr. Legacy Fund.
This fund continues Dr. Richardson’s vision of advancing family medicine and improving the health of Georgia communities for generations to come.
What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving (also known as legacy giving) allows you to make a lasting impact beyond your lifetime through a will, trust, life insurance policy, or other estate plan.
GHFA has partnered with FreeWill, a free, secure tool that helps you create a legally valid will in about 20 minutes — and, if you wish, include a gift that supports GHFA’s work across Georgia.
How To Make a Legacy Gift
If you’ve been inspired by GHFA’s work or touched by the care of a family physician, we invite you to make GHFA part of your legacy.
Write your free will. Visit freewill.org/ghfa to create your will at no cost.
Include GHFA in your plans. Designate a portion of your estate, life insurance, or trust to GHFA.
Let us know. Did you already include GHFA? Complete this quick form so we can thank you.
